Nice to see the old crew again. Ride home wasn't as smooth as I would have liked. Cargo net hook gave up and dropped 1 sleeping bag into to rear wheel. 1 destroyed hugger and ruined rear tyre ( big flat spot when wheel locked up at 70mph) managed to get to the side of the road moto cross stylie with the back weaving around a bit. Lovely long skid mark and loads of smoke :D

Big thanks to Ben, Matty and Bono for helping me free the bag from between the hugger and the tyre and getting the hugger un wedged from the zorst pipe.

Then Bono had some electrical gremlins possibly power commander issue, just cut out twice before Newark. It was power reset and seemed to be OK, just hope he gets home without further drama. And The Italian machine never suffered once :rollin

Hope Bod doesn't get too much ear ache from the better half..... :D

Bloody hell George, you were lucky to keep it upright. Can you give Bod some lessons? :lol

Hi all , it was good to meet up again ,it's been to long , had a great time , I'm glad I made the effort , it was almost passed without incident , I wish spilling a little water over myself this morning in bed was all , but the new bike syndrome has hit again :cry , called into Gainsborough to thank Scott and dropped the bike doing a u-turn :cry ,will have to stop doing u-turns :( ,other wise I am very happy with the Tiger . Cannot wait for the next meet :) :Beer

Not sure if I'm going to tell her yet, may wait till I've got plenty of cheap alcohol in here in Turkey . At least it is only a brake lever and a bad scratch on a pannier .

George’s little skid mark…

Thankfully resetting the Power commander seemed to do the trick, although I got a little carried away with playing/testing that it was all working.
George you're not the only one who needs a new tyre :o

Great to see everybody again, thanks for organising a great event Scott.

Glad it got you home OK. At least you know which wire to disconnect if it happens again. Will be looking out for a hugger on Ebay and checking out new tyre prices this week :D

if i ever hear another story about space docking, it will be too soon. Good weekend, thanks to all those who helped it run smooth, and those who added the interesting moments. journey home was fine but did have to dodge some rain showers. Until September then....?

Thanks Scott. And all that made for a good weekend's meet.

George, excuse me for not stopping - looked like you'd got as much help there as wanted and I was kinda of pressing on.

Looking forward to the next one (not the pictures from this one).
