Hi Sheila,

Just had this message you posted on 599.com brought to my attention.

Quote:
ey up Creakin'
long time no see!!
I see your wonderful friendship with Scott is still as colourful as ever, lol!
Sorry for the thread hijack, I couldnt help myself for reminding Scott about the van use..until yesterday he had never mentioned the fact I recovered his bike let alone said thanks! ah well!! lol
Hope you're well mate, looks like you have a nice forum here and soem good banter going on too

take care

Smiler xx

Just to put you in the picture and get your facts straight. Until you mentioned it in the thread you are referring to, I was under the impression that Mart had recovered my bike and considering the amount of morphine and the circumstances I found myself in at the time I feel it's a bit childish of you to send narky messages to other members...........Ooooops, you screwed up and meant to send it as a PM didn't you. At least you admit that I did say thanks once I found out it was your van that recovered my bike. From someone I thought was a friend it was a real shock to see that message but on a positive note, it's good to know who your friends are. So I will say it again and hopefully help your hurt feelings...Thank you for the use of your van to recover my bike when I was in hospital back in June 2009.

I think it's a very fair comment considering the circumstances at the time and the two-faced nature of the person behind it.

This is not about another forum. This is about back stabbing by some one who was very involved on here.

Fair enough, and I'm too new to understand the history. And I don't need too :) all I know is I love it here and and the likes yourself , Steve, gaz, Richard etc... Are what makes a forum work. Expert advice, friendly banter, constructive criticism and patience. As a noob here I have been made very welcome and would hate this one to self destruct like it sounds like 599 is.

Keep up the good work guys :clap

There wasn't any history with Smiler, that's why I was shocked to have this message brought to my attention. She was never anything but friendly to my face every time I met her but I guess you never know people.

lets get back to hhoc
ive been on the site for the best part of 4 years :) and in most cases every day 8o
and it has and still is a part of my daily life :blahblah

the recent goings on regard a other site and its members has nowt to do with me
and i shouldnt really comment BUT as the hhoc is a very well run and organised club i feel that it shouldnt become involved .

i have met ( some in person ) some great people and i have learnt a bucket full if info which i have ben able to pass on to newer members :)

keep the hhoc a real club that has respect for each other regardless of a persons thoughts or what ever ????

keep the site a place to be welcomed and encourage others to become a part of this friendly community

life is too short to argue and bicker :blast

and for what its worth the hhoc is the best hornet owners club on the planet :o and im proud to be a part of it and to know you either as a user name a real name or a face

now can we give up this crap and get back to the original idea of the hhoc :evil

gaz, this has nothing to do with a site war! it is between Scott and Smiler.
what happens between members off here on another site has nothing to do with the nest.

PS, nice reply scott :clap i do like kebabs :rollin

Interpersonal disputes are always better either dealt with face to face, or failing that, by PM or email

Look, I'm in a good mood, I've got a new bike, the sun is shining, and I'm off to Wales in 3 weeks time. Please don't spoil my Happy Aura

I would have done it by PM but due to the underhanded, back stabbing nature of the offending message I wanted it out in the open.

It's not a thread. It is a private message that was accidentally posted as a public message on someone's profile and I have posted it in it's entirety above.
