ye gods - there's a blast from the past!

Yes, of course I remember you. And I'm sitting here looking at my little glass Hornet as we speak!

How on earth are you?

I am ok
still working for BT and still living in Kent, been here for around 14 years now.
Was working in Croydon and commuting on a Blade, but a Saab driver put an end to that one. Now based either at home or in Sevenoaks.
Had a spell on a Dullsville but the vibes and lack of personality made it short lived.
Can't get bikes out of my system so now on the SV1000 which is a fun ride.
I take it you are still riding ?
Will have to catch up after Christmas . Go for a ride and a coffee somewhere
I did the Brighton Ace Cafe Bash this year but that's been the only event I have done.
It's really good to chat, are there many of the old riders around. I saw Mart had posted and assume Wunny is still running millions of miles on his bikes

let's see..............

Matt is still Da Guvna
Me and Scott do the daily running etc.
Mart has left
Wunny rides a Pan these days

The LittleInsect ended up entirely carbon fibre and titanium and was retired and de-commissioned 2 years ago with 169,000 miles on the clock, and replaced with a new Hornet. I've been riding a CBF1000 since 2006 but had to part with it when I got made redundant just before Christmas last year on the same day that Dick had a bad accident on his Dullsville. Life this year has consisted entirely of looking after him and getting him more or less mobile on a CB500X with a lowering kit (all he can manage now) He lost his job because he's been left a little disabled and therefore unable to work on the Railways.

But life goes on eh?

Will deffo meet up with you in the New Year. We'll sort something out then

Sorry that Dick had a bad one, that's not good
Maybe this is the year, when you feel things are low then the only way to look is UP
Will look forward to catching up. Roll on new year
