Currently 16, passed my CBT on my 16th birthday, and had my bike ready to go. I got a brand new Rieju Nkd 50, the naked version of their sports RS2. It's got me completely hooked into biking, and I can't wait to get something with a bit more Oomph :D

In 4 months I'll be 17, and taking my A2 test, and be ready to hop onto a restricted big bike. I'm almost certain it will be a Hornet, I was originally thinking of a brand new 600 on finance, infact the HRC liveried one at Honda Doble rather took my fancy, but as reality has hit me, I slowly moved my dreams down to an older 600 Hornet, and have now seen a 250 Hornet which has rather taken my fancy. So I'm here to collect as much info as possible about these bikes, and hopefully become a member of the club :D

Cheers
Matt

Congratulations on your CBT pass Matt :clap

A 250 Hornet is a great bike to start with. Alternatively an older 600 hornet restricted.

Enjoy the bug, and ride safe. :D

I'll be down in Weymouth on my hornet in May - keep your eyes open for a chat (particularly at the cafe Weymouth end of Chesil Beach)

BUT HANDS OFF MY JACKET SPUD!

Thanks for the welcomes guys. Wonder if anyone in Weymouth is on here, I've seen a few buzzing around.

What's a decent price for a 1996 Hornet 250? Or should I move over to the Hornet 250 forum?
