Hey there guys, had some issues signing up but finally got passed them!

Passed my DAS test little over a month ago (just in time for winter!) and have been loving my hornet since.

It's a 2002 with ~30k on the clocks, but felt like a bargain for what I paid. Few little modifications, with more to come. I've since added heated grips and had a full service on it as she was not running so great when cold. Turns out a high-flow air filter and non adjusted carb was the issue, which is resolved now thankfully! Few little bits for me to tidy up over winter, and a very slidey seat to try and sort out pronto!

Look forward to learning more about them.

Anyone else from Edinburgh, I'll hopefully meet through the local riders club on FB or you may see me on the city bypass a few times a week (probably filtering far too fast)!

Here she is:

Spent a lot of time in Peebles as a kid.

Good place that! Certainly plenty of nice driving roads up here, although it's now absolutely freezing! Dieing to get out on her but feels sketchy as getting close to 1 or 2 degrees currently!

Anybody know where I can get the rubber grommets that are used for the screws for the side panel which covers the battery?

Search Ebay for Well nuts (5mm IIRC). Honda ones are too dear.
