I know that the cafe racer scene tends to divide opinion - and personally speaking after initial enthusiasm I've decided that the cafe racer thing is not for me - if I were to customise a bike I would prefer to play to the particular aesthetic and mechanical strengths of the individual bike in question - rather than trying to force it to fit the rules of a specific custom scene.

But as it's a Hornet I felt I should post up this example of the genre. I think it's ok - most cafe racer customisations of Hornets don't tend to end up looking this good.

It's also strange that after going to so much trouble and expense to modify the bike including a Ducati front end, classic fuel tank and single cafe racer seat the builder has retained the original Hornet rearsets? Maybe he is just waiting for the after market rearsets to arrive in the post to complete the customisation?
