Hi Guys, 8o

I was out for a lovely ride on my 250 Hornet on Sunday when it suddenly went BANG :blast . Engine cut out and the oil light came on. I coasted it to the side of the road and pulled over. Checked the oil - it was low but still within limits. Put more oil in anyway. Started engine up fine, although the oil light stayed on. As soon as I tried to put it in gear a metallic rattling sound happened so I turned it straight off and called the RAC for pick up!

7 hours later the bike and I got home. This coming Sunday instead of going out for a lovely ride I shall proceed to remove the engine from my bike in order to inspect the internal components (probably starting with the gearbox). :cry

:help Just wondered if anyone on here has any experience (and advice) with removing the engine or rebuilding gearbox or even have a similar issue happen?
