I haven't tried it on the Hornet, I guess it would make the clutch lighter and easier to use, but as the standard Hornet clutch cable set up is not particularly stiff or hard to use (when adjusted properly) any improvement in this area would likely be marginal and might not justify the expense, time and hassle of fitting the hydro clutch.

I had a couple of 1000cc bikes in the past which were fitted with hydraulic clutches because litre bikes run heavier duty clutch springs (which means heavier clamping power) and therefore require a more powerful hydraulic clutch which needs less hand pressure to actuate the clutch than a cable set up.
