still not got my M-unit!!! got an e mail from German Co saying that there would be a delay in shipping due to a high volume of orders, I e mailed back asking when i could expect it if different to e bay receipt?
didnt get a reply!
so i contacted them via ebay (so it would be recorded by ebay/paypal) still no answer.
whilst i was about it i contacted the UK Company that i had ordered the M-lock off to see what was happening with that order, they were very informative and said that they were waiting for a part of my order to come in (glass key out of stock) from motogadget, I asked them if they had any M-unit Basic's in stock, they said they had just got some of the "blue" ones in stock but could get me a Basic in 2 days, they said that Motogadget were snowed under with orders and were well behind with getting stock out.
so would appear that the ebay seller i had brought mine off didnt have the stock he claimed on his ebay listing, and had put an order into Motogadget when i had ordered from him FFS.
I have sent them another email telling them to cancel my order and refund my payment, as they havent let me know what is happening with the order and also as they haven't yet marked it as "dispatched" how was it going to get to me by the advertised latest of the 30th Nov??
if i get no reply by tonight i will raise a Paypal dispute and demand my money back, then re order through the UK supplier who at least is helpfull and informative.

Classic case of dropshipping. :Bang

Quote:
On eBay there is not a clear rule about drop shipping. According to their policy, this practice should be avoided, as sellers should always own the products before publishing them. This is to prevent bad buyer experiences and to guarantee safe transactions. However, it seems that eBay is tolerating drop shipping as long as the seller can guarantee good service

Love the PSB article - bike looks absolutely mint :clap

I'm sure it will turn up in print at some point.

Brilliant - it's a great magazine - the only one I bother reading these days.

I have a sub to Practical Sportsbikes, read Steve's article when it came out. Is it really a year ago, doesn't time fly ?

( Which is where I spotted the uncanny resemblance to this chap.)

I also have a sub to Classic Motorcycle Mechanics, not quite as good as PSB but still compulsive reading. I also take Classic Bikes, as they often have some interesting stuff in there, no sub for that one, usually pick it up at Tesco.

And a sub to MCN, sometimes wonder why I bother with that one. However, wifes guinea pigs enjoy it ...
