Fascinating, I didn't realise HEL made calipers, assumed that they were just another brake line shop.

666 ? Seriously ?? :eek

Put like that, yes, I agree. And when you compare it with the price of a single Ohlins shock, which doesn't have anything like as much work in its construction, I suppose a pair of these calipers is indeed a bargain.

Any idea which BSB team use these ?

got home and straight to the shed, opened box and lots of bling came out  fitting kit, fast road/trackday pads, caliper fitting kit

dug a bit further into it and found these two beauties huddled at the bottom.

quick test fit this morning, and am going to need to get 1.5mm removed from my disc spacers, as the new calipers have a 1.5mm difference in off set from the Nissins that were fitted before!!!!!  this ends up with the disc outer surface only just clearing the caliper when fitted

not a great problem, but a problem i hadn't expected to come up against  :Bad

got the disc spacers back from Taff,  just the job, discs now sit in the centre of the grove in the caliper, so all is good.

fitted the calipers, changed over the brake hoses and connected everything up.

as i was expecting the bleed nipples were a bit of a bitch to get too,  but once i had worked out a way of getting at them bleeding

was easy enough.

now all ready for a test run tomorrow.

when i got home there was a "we tried to deliver" card on the twatting mat FFS :cry

got my dry break connectors today, made up some short hose adaptors to attach them to the caliper.

just need to sort the hoses from the master cylinder down to the connector.

rear brake will be getting the connector with the screw attachment hose. one in middle of pic.

fitted the rear connector, still not sure about the way i have it here, had tried it at the bottom of the caliper, but seemed  bit vulnerable.
