I love Hornet's with belly pans… I wish they could ship them to North America for cheap… lol

You could maybe get a bellypan from something else and make it fit.

Never mind the seat cowl and the throttle, that headlight unit must be destroyed! Preferably take it out office space style with a baseball bat in a field.

Joking aside, glad you got to ride.

Seat cowl looks a good fit.

Ive been pretty nervous about my hornet for a while. We went to buy my friend hes first motorbike, and i accidentatly test-rode an Yamaha XT660X, 660c thumper. God i was sold to it right away.
And cant get it out of my mind, it was so much usable bike than Hornet.. :notme
And should be even as reliable... Dunno what to do :notme

Great bike and motor particularly for short trips or a bit of 'adventure' style riding but not as versatile or powerful as the 600 in line 4.

If you need to do a longer trip or want to exploit sweeping bends and some fast road riding you'll soon hit the limitations of the XT - depends what you want your bike for really - but still, nice choice !

Well, my motorcycle usage is mostly from home to work and back. 35km per side.
And playing on bike with friends on cities.
And then we spend alot time on summer cottage. On summer lol.
And there most roads are either on bad condition, when they happen to be paved, or totally unpaved.
On Finland situation atm is at they are changeing ALOT of paved roads to unpaved, since government " dont have money"
to fix them.

But lets see what is coming.

Could see the attraction then on unpaved roads
