Anyone done this?
I'm about to pull the trigger on a pair of cans (dunno which ones yet) and a PCIII with the intention of getting a custom map done.
There's already a K&N in there, but I am weighing up the pros & cons of knocking out the cat.
Anyone done this ?
And what did you think?
My reasoning is that anything that will improve the flow of exhaust gasses has got to be good?
Right? (or not)

Cheers peeps.
K

The bike purrs along when I'm riding it.

errmm..sorry....I'll get my coat.
tbh mate, I don't...but I'm thinking there must be something in that part of the y connector where it bulges out just after the bottom connector?

Never had one in my 02 model and have heard others have not had them in :D

Just done an online check of the y pipe and the price is £65 more for some later models :eek
