...well, I've owned my bike since 2003, so I think it's just about time to address the sh!t rear light cluster...bulbs failing every 6 months or so.....(good job there's two eh?)
Anyway, thought I'd treat it to a new LED jobbie, mainly for the extra brightness they offer.
My plan is to keep the original indicators in place, and get an 'integrated' unit with additional indicators in it. That way, I shouldn't need to arse around with resistors, and also, it shouldn't fall foul of pedantic MOT testers.

My question is this...I've seen units that vary in price from £30 to £80
They ALL seem to be made in China.
So...what's the difference?

Cheers

about £50 :lol

think it depends on the type of integration! and amount of LED's used
you get two types

1) indicators separate to brake/tail (so dont interfere with each other, MOT pass)

2) indicators that are part of brake light & flash in alternate pulse ( so interfere with each other, MOT FAIL)

If you don't want to faff about with the light unit, just fit LED bulbs in place of the originals. Brighter, last longer, tiny current draw, and you keep the OE appearance.

yeah....I've looked at the led bulb replacements....but thought I'd go full fat and get the whole unit.

anyone got any recommendations please?

if I HAVE to blow £80...then I'm ok with that, as long as I'm not buying a crappo £20 unit for my money.
