i'm sure everyone would love a list of parts, only remember the one off hand
Oil filter : Highflow part number HF111 is the best patern equivalent i've found
brake levers and clutch lever are the same as the 600, mozza says the gear selector is different though so be careful on that
Front brake pads : EBC FA187HH double check this!
Back brake pads : EBC FA174HH double check THIS!
Oil Filter Honda Part Number 15410-KEA-305 approx £7 from Nightingales Rugby.
Speedo Cable 44830KEA000 - 10.02 + VAT = £11.78
[ one i've found after ordering one indicator ] honda part numbers for the original 250 indicators Front Right 33400-KBH-901 & Left 33450-KBH-901 Rear Right 33600-KEA-003 & Left 33650-KEA-003

Tyres: Round black ones
Air filter = same as 600
Hugger = same as 600
Brake/clutch levers = same as 600
Brake/gear levers = you're stuffed
http://www.ridersmotorcycles.co.uk
These can get hold of any part for the 250!

standard tyre sizes
front : 130 / 70, 16 inch rim (61W)
rear : 180 / 55, 17 inch rim (73W)
Brake / gear levers......SAME AS 600!!!!!!!!!! my brake pedal is exactly the same, the gear selector is the same as far as the threaded rod. that i dont think is the same because the distance from gearbox to gearlever is different on the 6 and 250

Can't be?? When I went to Pitstop 90 they matched up my bent gearlever with a 600 (early model) and it were completely different, so they decided to bend it!

well i'm sure i've got a 600 brake lever because it's gordo's spare!!! i could be wrong on the gear lever though as it arrived as a replacement from scotland, took less than 2 days to arrive after asking so i assumed they just got a 600 one

Any chance we can get this thread cleaned up a bit mods ? I have a few part numbers, but would be awesome if everything was in ONE post at the top of the thread.

Other than a new Honda genuine part, does anyone know of a gear linkage rod off another model that fits ? Or an aftermarket supplier ?

Not sure if you guys are interested or not, but I can supply carby o-ring kits that will suit the hornet 250 carbies.

What I supply is..

-4 fuel bowl o-rings (need to be glue into corners)
-4 drain screw o-rings
-4 idle mixture screw o-rings

I can also supply the fuel splitter o-rings (the t-piece that feeds fuel into carbies) and screws for the fuel bowl.

These are all after market parts that I have sourced at about 1/3 of the OEM price.

I have been selling these kits for the CBR250rr for about 2 years and I have sold about 100 kits, so you can rest easy.

The screws that are on the head cover are very delicate so they tend to brake their heads. Original part doesn't exist but CRF has the exact same design the code is 90017-MY9-790

Could someone please re-upload this or send it to me? My hard disc died and I desperately need it!

Thanks!

For all your information, I just got the confirmation, that the stator of the Hornet 250 does fit a Honda CRM 250 (MK3) perfectly. I would assume it's the same the other way round too, maybe there are even other compatible Honda models.
